The New Season Starts Now

THE NEW STARTS NOW

LANVIN

There is a particular kind of thrill that arrives with the season’s first shipment. A new silhouette. A well-cut jacket. The way a single shoe can reframe everything you thought you knew about getting dressed. Spring 2026 style delivers that thrill in abundance, but with an invitation to find your own point of entry.

WOMEN’S SPRING TRENDS

The women’s collections this season are nothing short of cinematic, with the actual influence of cinema and red-carpet dressing driving the excitement. Margot Robbie’s Wuthering Heights ignited a frenzy for corset dressing, and nowhere is that desire more apparent than on McQueen’s Spring 2026 designs. Demna’s debut at Gucci, meanwhile, was fashioned as a short film, The Tiger, starring Demi Moore, Keke Palmer, Edward Norton and others sporting the designer’s ‘70s-inspired looks. Think luxe draping, rich fringe and the kind of louche glamour that turns heads. That same decade pulses through Balmain and Khaite, with collections that eschew nostalgia for looks that are modern and refined.

At Chanel, the spectator pump enjoyed a high-wattage moment when Olivia Dean wore the shoe while accepting her Grammy award for Best New Artist. Pair it with a cropped jacket (another key silhouette this season), a bow-detailed blouse or a medallion pendant and you have the essential vocabulary of the season: feminine without fussiness, referential without the retro.

MEN’S SPRING TRENDS

For men, this spring brings the satisfaction of impeccable restraint. Where the women’s collections reveled in texture and drama, men’s collections found their strength in utility and simplicity. This was seen head to toe, from the precision of titanium sunglasses by Ferragamo to a chic polo by Berluti or Eleventy’s cargo pants, restyled to feel decidedly crisp. In short, spring’s unadorned looks prove that ease and elegance are not mutually exclusive.
