The hustle and bustle of the holidays is finally behind us. And with the flurry of entertaining, gift-giving and gathering in the rear-view mirror, it’s time to pivot our attention back to taking care of ourselves.

But we’re not talking about that dreaded “R” word: resolutions. We’re talking about making joyful shifts towards doing the things that invigorate us, get our bodies moving and inspire a whole lot of happiness in the process. This year, for example, our kitchen goals have nothing to do with healthy meal prep. Rather, the “kitchen” that we want to be spending the most time in this year is the one on the pickleball court.

We’re not gonna lie, we’ve often found that — ironically —  shopping for stylish gear and products for our healthy endeavors goes a long way towards getting us excited, helping us feel like we’re investing in ourselves and creating the building blocks of a great habit. It turns out that there’s actual science behind that feeling. In the book Atomic Habits, one of our favorite books about habit building, author James Clear details the research behind one of the key ways to make a habit irresistible: Make it attractive. We’ll absolutely toast to that – with a gut-healthy kombucha, of course.

So, in the spirit of making our new wellness habits even more attractive this year and, hopefully, more sustainable, we’ve curated a list of our go-to gear, clothing, accessories and wellness must-haves to start the year off on a more balanced — and chic — new foot.
