The presentation will be a 20-year retrospective of the iconic Tambour and two decades of Louis Vuitton watchmaking, starting with the first model introduced in 2002 to the newest iteration launched last September. The celebratory exhibition will be on view at Jewel Court at South Coast Plaza from Saturday, October 22 through Thursday, November 10.

NEW WATCH BOUTIQUES

Breitling | Opened in October

Founded in 1884, Breitling is a leading Swiss watchmaker. The innovative company invented the modern chronograph and pioneered the navigational tool watch. Breitling’s collections center around air, land, and sea pursuits, all captured in the brand’s unmistakable modern-retro style. The exceptional quality of every watch movement is confirmed by its status as a COSC-certified chronometer, and the brand remains one of only a few watchmakers to produce its own manufactured calibers. Combining classic watchmaking with the latest innovations, Breitling is a company with history and one ahead of its time.

IWC Schaffhausen | Opening in October

In 1868, Boston watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones founded the “International Watch Co.” in Schaffhausen, far from the watchmaking centers of Switzerland. His plan was to combine advanced American production technologies with the skilled craftsmanship of Swiss watchmakers to manufacture watch movements of the highest possible quality. IWC Schaffhausen combines precision engineering with exclusive design to produce finely crafted watches that will last for generations.

Tudor | Opened in October

TUDOR is an award-winning Swiss-made watch brand, offering mechanical watches with refined aesthetics, proven reliability and unique value for money. The founder of Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf, created the Montres TUDOR SA Company in 1946 to offer watches with the quality and dependability of a Rolex, at a more accessible price. TUDOR was initially known for watches produced for professional divers and the military. Both the U.S. Navy Seals and the French Navy issued Tudor Submariners to divers.

Hublot | Opening in November

In 1980, the first Hublot watch was created by the Italian entrepreneur and founder of the brand Carlo Crocco, who was dedicated to designing a practical watch that could resist the elements. Inspired by a ship’s porthole (a ‘hublot’ in French‘), the gold case, minimalist black dial and natural rubber strap became the aesthetic signature of Hublot watches. Decades later, Hublot is the standard for high-end sports watches. Designed to offer visitors a bright, warm, and welcoming ambience, the Hublot South Coast Plaza boutique will combine luxury with modernity, and tradition with innovation.

Roger Dubuis | Opening in November

The company was founded by Mr. Dubuis and designer Carlos Dias in 1995, and introduced its first two collections in 1996: Sympathie and Hommage. Distinguished by idiosyncratic design, fine movement finishing, and an emphasis on complications as an art form, the company drew strongly on Dubuis’ extensive experience restoring historically important vintage timepieces. Every Dubuis timepiece receives the Geneva Seal (Poinçon de Genève), one of the most prestigious certifications in watchmaking and one that very few of brands continue to pursue.
