CHEF SANG YOON TO OPEN TINY’S BURGER INSIDE SOUTH COAST PLAZA ON JUNE 15
The visionary behind Father’s Office debuts an Americana burger stand accented by a global konbini-style snack shop

COSTA MESA, CA — Chef Sang Yoon, the visionary behind the celebrated Father’s Office gastropubs, is set to open his new concept, Tiny’s Burger, this Monday, June 15. Located inside Costa Mesa’s iconic South Coast Plaza (Level 1 near Carousel Court), Tiny’s is a high-energy, multi-sensory space where casual dining, global snacking, and retail shopping come together.

“Tiny’s is about craveable comfort food refined with ingredients I love,” says Chef Sang Yoon. “We wanted to create a space that feels nostalgic but entirely fresh mixed with a menu that seems familiar yet new. Tiny’s is a place you can visit over and over and again and still discover something new..”

Named in loving honor of Chef Sang’s late Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, a sassy girl who wasn’t afraid to tell you exactly what to do and how to do it, Tiny’s channels that exact, uncompromising spirit into every single detail.

The space is designed with a playful outdoor feel, bringing an airy, open-air energy indoors. It serves as a tribute to the nostalgic American burger stand, uniquely accented by a lively, curated Konbini snack shop.

Crafted by Chef Sang Yoon and Chef Nanor Harboyan (Helm’s, Destroyer), the menu cheerfully disrespects traditional fast-casual boundaries by balancing classic Americana favorites with clever Asian influences. Menu highlights include:

  • Tiny’s Burger / Cheeseburger: A signature 4 oz. dry-aged beef burger elevated with Tiny’s sauce (made with gochujang, ssamjang, ketchup, mustard, and more)
  • Tokyo Dog: a 10-inch Nathan’s all beef hot dog, dressed up in savory bonito flakes, furikake, kewpie mayo, and sweet soy
  • Miso Mac n Cheese: Jumbo elbow pasta, American cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, white and red miso
  • Cup of Chili: All Beef Chili with Chinese Chili Crisp seasoning
  • Salt & Vinegar Tots: Tater Tots seasoned with salt & vinegar powder
  • Pineapple Dole Whip: Made famously popular by Disneyland

For those on the go, wander through the Konbini-style snack shop, which is stocked with house-made grab-and-go sandos and salads alongside an eclectic selection of unique snacks and drinks curated from around the world.
