The menu blends comfort food classics and a “sprinkle of clever Asian influences.” What does that look like?

As an immigrant kid growing up in Southern California I grew up on burgers and fries. My cooking inspiration and the food I love is distinctly Asian so a lot of those inspirations wil be literally baked in. You’re going to feel like you’ve taken a trip somewhere.

Obtaining Dole Whip is notoriously elusive. Is the chase part of the experience?

Dole Whip is surprisingly hard to get, everyone associates it to Disneyland, but you don’t have to pay $200 to get in to get Dole Whip we have it right here every day!

You have built some of LA’s most beloved restaurants. What does opening at South Coast Plaza mean to you?

South Coast Plaza, I specifically love because it’s both a global shopping destination, but it’s also a pillar of the community. I love the fact that we have visitors and everyday regulars, that to me is a really special unique blend.

Come Visit us at Tiny’s everyone, South Coast Plaza!
