Spring forward with fresh fashion as South Coast Plaza stylists highlight the season’s must-have trends

Saint Laurent

The days are getting longer, lighter, and brighter, and so should our wardrobes. As seen on the runways recently, fashion is trending toward florals and metallics. And if you are seeing red, you’re right. The color is so 2023.

For inspiration, three South Coast Plaza stylists have curated seasonal suggestions from the Spring and Summer collections of 250 luxury and contemporary boutiques and walk you through the hottest trends for the season.

SPRING TREND :: FLORALS

When I think of spring, I picture beautiful floral print dresses that exude femininity. No one captures the essence of spring and the height of femininity like designer Oscar de La Renta. Styles range from garden party elegance like the strapless blue and pink floral dress to sophisticated evening florals like the one shoulder black dress to the free-flowing blue and white spaghetti strap dress worn casually with a pair of white flats or dressed up with high heel strappy sandals.

SPRING TREND :: RED

Red rocks Spring 2023 and is a major player looking forward to fall 2023. It’s strong and sexy, a combo that will elevate your look. Depending on your skin tone, choose a shade of red that complements your skin tone.
