PALM ANGELS IN LOS ANGELES

Palm Angels strengthens its global retail network with the opening of a new boutique in Los Angeles, bringing the total number of standalone stores in the USA to four. Following the successful launch of its first flagship store in Miami, subsequent openings in Las Vegas and New York have paved the way for this latest venture, strategically positioned within the luxury mall of South Coast Plaza, the premier shopping destination on the West Coast of the United States, situated in Costa Mesa.

Founded in 2015, Palm Angels has successfully blended the values of Made in Italy with American culture from the very beginning. By combining Californian casualness with Italian style, the brand has disrupted the status quo, effectively blurring the boundaries between casual and formal wear.

The opening in LA is now somewhat of a homecoming for the brand.

Long walls covered in white ceramic, glossy finishes, and the use of bleached cedar wood for the central counter are key elements of the new boutique. Nero Marquina marble and raffia inserts define the interior decor alternated with racks in burnished stainless steel. The store’s design features geometric lines that create a unique atmosphere, showcasing all the brand’s collections in a space that exudes a sense of effortless elegance, appealing to a new generation that values authenticity, comfort, and individuality.

The new store spans 160 square meters and combines classic and austere elements with raw material effects. From the entrance, a black and white marble floor invites the consumer to explore the interiors enhanced by designer furnishings, dressing rooms with palm-themed wallpaper, glossy black racks and shelves, and a seating area with cushions.

Opened on February 9th, the boutique showcases the new Spring-Summer 2024 collection, a selection of iconic pieces from the brand, and a capsule collection created exclusively for the new Los Angeles location. Fine modulo

About PALM ANGELS An art director trained in fashion communication and a photographer; Milan-born Francesco Ragazzi started Palm Angels in 2011 as a photographic documentation of LA’s skater culture. The endeavor evolved into a book, published by Rizzoli in 2014, and subsequently into clothing in 2015. Palm Angels stems from an Italian take on American culture and subcultures. It merges an appreciation for sartorial codes and a joy for fabric with a proclivity for using clothing as identity tropes and cultural signifiers. Palm Angels is essentially a vision, with a real human being behind it.
