GUCCI ANNOUNCES A NEWLY EXPANDED BOUTIQUE IN SOUTH COAST PLAZA

The boutique will span two floors to offer a wider selection from the Houses’ collections.

Gucci is expanding its presence in the United States with the opening of a sprawling boutique in Southern California. Situated in South Coast Plaza, the location replaces the former boutique in the center, offering an elevated destination with double the floor space and an impressive array of products across two floors.

The 17,500 square feet boutique warmly welcomes guests into a spacious ground floor that showcases Men’s Ready-to-Wear, Shoes, Accessories, and Valigeria. A custom curving marble staircase leads to the upper floor and to Handbags, Fine Jewelry, Women’s Ready-to-Wear, Shoes- and more including Gucci Kids and Gucci Décor collections.

From Fragrances to Leathergoods, the House’s various chapters await discovery over two floors – including dedicated areas for the Gucci Valigeria travel collection on both levels. Throughout their journey clients will encounter the latest collections from the House, including the Women’s Spring Summer 2024 and Pre-Fall collections. The boutique will also feature exclusive items only available at South Coast Plaza, including precious leather handbags.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Horsebit fine jewelry line, the boutique will proudly present the global exclusive launch of the new collection this April. The iconic Horsebit design will be reimagined across various styles in yellow gold, which highlight the timeless elegance and equestrian heritage of the design.

The store’s interior design features intentionally essential elements aimed at placing Gucci’s collections at the forefront. Custom marble flooring with geometric shapes draws inspiration from designs found in antique historic buildings. Clean lines and understated tones are complemented by soft rich fabrics adorning the walls, along with ivory boiserie acting as a delicate backdrop to the items on display. The store is designed to evoke a sense of home, with built-in displays reminiscent of walk-in closets, and intimate corners created with Gucci Décor velvet armchairs, sofas, and shaggy wool monochrome rugs. The space also introduces two separate VIP lounges for a luxury experience.

As part of Gucci’s commitment to implement and enhance eco-friendly initiatives and energy-efficient technologies in the House’s stores worldwide, the new boutique is designed using LEED guidelines and principles to monitor and promote energy efficiency.
