Last year’s theme was the Wonders of Nature: A Tropical Paradise

A Tropical Paradise is a landscape of color and life, where nature’s vibrancy is on full display. Every element, every leaf, stone, and petal fit together in harmonious balance, a testament to the quiet artistry of the natural world.

Parrots
 		   Natural materials, black seaweed, poppy seeds, and white beans
 
Toucan
 		   Crushed orange lentils, crushed white rice, and black seaweed
 
Mountain of Granite
 		   Finished rocks, poppy seeds, onion seeds, and crushed rice
 
Rainforest Floor
 		   Sphagnum moss and reindeer moss 
 
Hibiscus Flowers
 		   Crushed orange lentils and cut marigolds
 
Frogs
 		   Green chrysanthemums, split peas, and parsley 
 
Butterflies
 		   Crafted from marigolds, lentils, statice, and crushed rice

PALM COLLECTION

The core of the collection can be traced back to the late 1940s, now located on Bear Street, South Coast Plaza continues to add unique specimens to its collection with varieties from all over the world.

All palms are labeled with their common name and botanical name and most have their country of origin.
