Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. Motorsport-inspired athleisure is having a serious fashion moment this spring and it’s mirroring a massive resurgence in racing interest in North America that has catapulted it to one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. Excitement was first ignited when Netflix launched its Formula One docuseries Drive to Survive in 2019 and it has only been further fueled (pardon the pun) this season by the recent debut on The CW of 100 Days to Indy, the IndyCar docuseries which chronicles IndyCar drivers as they prepare for the Indianapolis 500 on May 28. And to add to the excitement, Formula One has added to its calendar a street race in Las Vegas this November.
