The Scene:
Marni brought its Marni Market to the center to celebrate South Coast Plaza’s 50^th anniversary. The pop-up boutique at Jewel Court was exclusive in the U.S. to South Coast Plaza. On display were braided PVC-and-metal décor and outdoor furniture, striped espadrilles, floral- and geometric-printed totes, mesh bags, colorful baskets and fresh flowers.

Philanthropy:
A portion of the proceeds of sales at Marni Market and the Marni boutique benefited Festival of Children Foundation.

Origins:
Marni Market originated from the one-day-only Marni flower market during Fashion Week in September 2014 at the Rotonda della Besana gardens in Milan to commence Marni’s 20^th anniversary celebrations. Since then, Marni has taken Marni Market around the world to cities such as Osaka in Japan, Bangkok in Thailand, Hong Kong, and others.
