New Year’s Eve is just about here and it’s a big night for dining out.

Four South Coast Plaza restaurants have created special menus to ring in the New Year.

ANQI BISTRO

AnQi is celebrating a Foodie New Year’s Eve with a five-course prix fixe menu on December 31. Guests will enjoy AnQi signature dishes as well as creative new offerings.

First course selections are tuna cigars, chicken kimchi dumpling or lobster on scallion pancake. Second course is either seafood coconut bouillabaisse or hearts of palm “crab cake” salad. A third tasting course is the signature An’s famous garlic noodles.

Select from five entrées that include filet mignon, misoyaki butterfish or Mongolian lamb chop.  End the evening with either magically coconut or jasmine panna cotta.

WATER GRILL

Water Grill goes all out with a luxe four-course menu with a multitude of choices for New Year’s Eve. First course selections range from wild jumbo shrimp cocktail to an oyster sampler or jumbo lump crab cakes.  Next, choose from the signature clam chowder or three salads; entrées include a filet mignon & South African lobster tail, Chilean sea bass or New Zealand King salmon, Double R Ranch filet mignon or North American lobster.  End on a sweet note with choice of Rosen’s NY cheesecake, chocolate espresso ganache cake or caramel bread pudding.

MORTON'S THE STEAKHOUSE

Morton’s will offer its Chateaubriand Holiday Dinner for two nightly through December 31.  

The dinner for two begins with winter green salad, followed by Chateaubriand, sliced and served for the table with roasted shallots, red wine demi and sauce bearnaise. Choose two sides to share. Dessert selections include Morton’s legendary chocolate cake, pecan streusel cheesecake and sticky toffee bread pudding. À la carte menu also available.
