Position Summary & Key Responsibilities
The Selling Supervisor at Maison Margiela’s South Coast Plaza location is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales and ensuring a high-end customer experience. The role focuses on both individual sales performance and team management.
Core duties include:
* Driving Sales: The supervisor is expected to not only meet their own monthly and annual sales targets but also to motivate and lead the team to meet collective goals.
* Team Leadership: This involves supervising, training, and coaching sales associates. A significant part of the role is providing ongoing feedback and supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and development of new team members.
* Client Management: A key responsibility is fostering and maintaining relationships with VIP and loyal clients through clienteling strategies. This includes building a detailed client book and ensuring a personalized shopping experience.
* Store Operations: The supervisor helps ensure the store runs smoothly by overseeing daily operations, including stock management, loss prevention, and visual merchandising to uphold brand standards.
* Reporting: The role requires analyzing sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and growth opportunities, and working with the store manager to implement strategies.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Selling Supervisor position, candidates should possess:
* Experience: Typically, 2-5 years of experience in luxury retail, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
* Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must. Candidates should also have an understanding of luxury products, market trends, and high-end customer service.
* Education: A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is a plus.

Pay Rate: $22- $24
