Position Overview

We’re looking for a Barista to join our team at our cafe inside South Coast Plaza.

The Cafe Barista position contributes to the success of the Armani Caffē by providing customer service to exceed customers’ expectations with prompt service, quality beverages and menu offerings, a positive and friendly attitude, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. All team members are expected to act in accordance with Giorgio Armani company policies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

– Greets customers and take their orders: handle cash and credit card transactions.
– Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages per customer’s specifications
– Serving prepared food and pastries
– Deliver customer service to exceed customers’ expectations by responding to their needs with a sense of urgency and care
– Ability to multitask and remain calm during periods of high volume to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team.
– Maintain appearance of store ensuring product is stocked to appropriate levels and all areas are properly cleaned and sanitized
– Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
– Maintain a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers
– Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
– Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

– Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
– Available to work flexible hours including: opening and closing shifts, weekends, and/or holidays
– Must be able to stand for long periods of time and occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs.
– Passionate about Coffee
– A passion for hospitality and guest service
– An outgoing and energetic disposition
– A polished and stylish presence

Pay Rate: $17-$19
