Celebrate the Lunar Holiday with Us

South Coast Plaza celebrates the Autumn Harvest Festival September 2-11. The lunar holiday is a tradition among many Asian cultures and is known as the Chinese Mid-Autumn or Moon Festival, the Korean Cheosuk and the Vietnamese Tet Trung Thu. It is observed on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month – when the moon is believed to be at its fullest and brightest during the year. This holiday is a time for gathering (the full moon signifies family reunion), thanksgiving (for a good harvest) and praying (for good fortune).
