The creative force behind some of fashion’s most influential media moments – including Pamela Anderson’s iconic fluffy pink hat and one of Gisele’s first cover shoots – shared his insider perspective with us in the latest edition of 3 Questions!

 

How have you seen fashion evolve throughout your career?

“Oh wow, I mean I think the biggest evolution I’ve seen within the world of fashion is that it’s become much more democratized, that everyone can participate in this industry, which is what I really love. When I first started in the 90s it was such a ratified world. Today, anyone can have style, anyone can be participating in trends, everyone can have a voice, and that’s what i love about fashion today.”

 

This year has been designer musical chairs. What new creative director appointment are you most excited about?

“I love designer musical chairs, i have to be honest, I think my biggest excitement is really Jonathan Anderson. I have to say like style, he really is the definitive designer for this particular generation and I think what he’s done has been something that’s always truly authentic unpredictable but there’s a Whimsy and there’s a quirkiness to it that makes it so incredibly luxurious at the same time.”

 

Do you have a styling moment from your career that stands out to you?

“It is really hard have one styling moment! I mean, I worked on multiple Hollywood issues for Vanity Fair that I loved with Tom Ford was a really special one I did. I did a GAP commercial with Madonna, I found Giselle is a new model and worked with her you know a million times, I mean it’s … it’s — No! I’m not going to sit and be like ‘this is my favorite moment’, but there have been many many moments and many milestones within my career that have helped to define it.! ”
