The Company chose South Coast Plaza for its first location due to the shopping center being among the most prestigious, with a long waiting list to secure a retail site. The celebratory weekend will kick off on September 14th with a private event for press. Then on September 15th and 16th, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony; a speech given by the first Korean American California Republican Assemblywoman and 2018 candidate for U.S. Congress, Young Kim; and an appearance by multi-faceted artist and fashion entrepreneur and icon Jessica Jung, who will hold a meet & greet and autograph signing for fans to signify her relationship with Beautytap’s new store as the second U.S. location to offer the Serein skincare line from her company BLANC & ECLARE.

Product activations will allow attendees to experience the products firsthand and will continue on a monthly basis after the grand opening. The first 50 customers who attend the grand opening will receive scratcher tickets with a chance to win prizes or discounts on products.
