ENJOY THE 2008 SUMMER FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL

South Coast Plaza invites the public to enjoy the 2008 Summer Food & Wine Festival Thursday, June 19, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. This year Antonio Cagnolo, proprietor of the famed Antonello Ristorante, introduces a new trio of limited-edition wines lovingly crafted by friends and family in his home region of Piedmont, Italy: Il Solito Vino ≈ "The Usual Wine" Barbera Suprim 2004, Pelo de Lupo 2005 and Zio Baldo 2005.

In its 16th year South Coast Plaza's Summer Food & Wine Festival presents an exciting evening of culinary delights from South Coast Plaza restaurants, premium wineries and breweries plus live music by the Beatles Tribute Band, "Imagine." The event is a unique opportunity for the entire community to respond to the hunger problem in Orange County. Every dollar generated from ticket sales, corporate sponsorships and opportunity drawings will be donated directly to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County and Someone Cares Soup Kitchen in Costa Mesa. These two organizations work tirelessly to assist the 456,000 men, women and children in Orange County at risk of missing meals each month.
