Harvesters Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon: By the Numbers

The moment a model stepped out in a strapless black Oscar de la Renta faille gown with yellow, pink and violet embroidered floral tendrils, cellphones shot up alongside the runway, capturing one of many memorable must-haves from the 25th Harvesters Fashion Show and Luncheon presented by South Coast Plaza. In Orange County’s philanthropic circles, the sold-out fundraiser is among the top fashion events, providing not just a one-of-a-kind collective glimpse at highlights from major designer collections, but also a veritable parade of fall styles worn by guests. In the audience, we spied with our little trend-spotting eye Fendi’s new cobalt satin drop-print V-neck dress with abbreviated kimono sleeves and the limited edition Gucci large Sylvie top-handle bag created especially for South Coast Plaza’s 50th anniversary. This year’s show at The Pavillon, a specially-constructed event space for South Coast Plaza’s anniversary celebrations, showcased Fendi, Lanvin, Marni, Max Mara, Moncler, Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo, The Webster, Valentino and Versace.

Following the show, guests enjoyed a three course meal by Water Grill South Coast Plaza in the adjacent glamorous dining room, which was adorned with a profusion of yellow and white roses, white orchids and lemons. They capped the festive day with after party cocktails at AnQi House of AN.
